HS Performs at SCBL Honor Band
Once a year, all of the schools in the SCBL send their top 14 band members. We congregate together at Southwestern College under the leadership of a guest clinician. This year, on Wed. Jan 22nd Mr. Judd from the Ark City Public Schools worked from 8:30 until 2:00, with a performance at 2:30, on four selections: Two British Folk Songs by Borgo, Kilauea by Balmages, Celtic Air and Dance by Sweeney, Ahrirang by Garofalo & Whaley. The following students participated: (Seniors) Hope Casner – French horn, Creek Love – Alto Sax, (Juniors) Aubreigh Haxton – Glockenspiel, Emma Huntley – Trumpet, Brayden Pierce – trombone, Savannah Shively – Bari Sax, (Sophomore) Jadyn Gallardo – flute, (Freshman) Brooke Love – clarinet, Jed Phillips – Aux. percussion, Brady Roblin – Aux. percussion, and Wesley Weishaar – trumpet.
