High School Football Players Earn Post-Season Honors

Two Argonia members of the Titan football team have received post-season recognition.  Junior center and defensive nose guard Brady Roblin earned All-District 2nd Team Offensive line and Honorable Mention Defensive line.  He also earned All-League 1st Team Offensive line and 2nd Team Defensive line.  Brady anchored the offensive line at his center position.  He did a great job blocking on the line as well as downfield in our screen game.  Defensively, he plugged the middle from the nose guard position and he accumulated 33 tackles and 3 sacks.  Sophomore Dalton Morrison earned Honorable Mention Defensive linebacker.  Dalton did a good job all year long of doing what the coaches asked and finding himself in the right position at the right time.  Dalton had 35 tackles, 1 sack, 3 interceptions and 2 defensive touchdowns.  Both players did a great job all year long and I look forward to seeing what progress they make this off-season as they'll both be returning leaders next year.

Several of our Attica players earned All-District recognition as well.  Junior Connor Harnden 1st Team Receiver and Honorable Mention Returner, Adam Blanchat 2nd Team RB and 1st Team LB, Wyatt Peterson 1st Team LB, Colter McDaniel 1st Team DB, Blake Shaddox 2nd Team DL, Coady Blick 2nd Team DL, and Xander Newberry 1st Team QB, Honorable Mention LB, and District Most Valuable Player.  Congrats to all the Titan football players that earned awards and to the entire team for another exciting season.  I wish all the seniors the best of luck the rest of the year and next year as they go on to college.  I'm also excited about all the talent we have coming back next season.  Go Titans!
