Aimee Lackey Kindergarten Teacher

I was born and raised in Conway Springs and still currently live in Sumner County, close to Argonia. My husband and I farm cattle and wheat/soybean crops and raise our four kids on the farm with cows, rabbits, chickens, ducks. Sometimes we have pigs and goats as well.

I love baking, swimming, hanging out with my family, and vacationing at the beach! Other passions include coffee, Diet Pepsi, and teaching kids!

I did my student teaching in Argonia in 2018 and I am thrilled to be back teaching at the Kindergarten level. I believe Kindergarten is more academically intensive than ever, but I also believe it is one of the most important foundations of learning through play and socialization.

My educational background includes a B.A. in History from Newman University in 1999, a B.S. in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University in 2018, and a Master's in Education with an emphasis as a Reading Specialist from Fort Hays State University in 2020.

Communication with parents is essential to providing our students the best possible educational opportunities and I am always available to discuss your child's needs!
